OBJECTIVE:

 
Getting acquainted with general concepts and applications of biotechnology

EXPECTED RESULTS (specific skills):
After completing this module, the student must show that it is able to:
1. Understanding what is the "biotechnology";
2. Acquire an overview of the potential of this science in various fields of application with particular regard to health

METHODOLOGY OF TEACHING / LEARNING
Teaching of the course will be based on lectures, practical laboratory sessions and seminars

STUDENTS EVALUATION
The final assessment of this module will be based on the weighted average of the final exam, of the seminar presentations and  of the practical activities. The evaluation criteria of the module shall comply with the assessment regulations of HCPM.
